As you're probably aware, spy photographers are vital to automotive publications (such as ourselves) because they allow us to report on the future of the automotive industry. Rarely do we get to know the people behind the lens, but ABC's Nightline has conducted an extensive interview with renowned spy photographer Brenda Priddy.
Camped out in the southwestern United States, Priddy drives around the desert hoping to get a glimpse of an upcoming vehicle. While the job may sound tedious, she says "If I shoot a $12,000 Kia or a $70,000 luxury car, I get just as excited."
The video focuses on her attempt to catch the 2012 Volkswagen Touareg hybrid, which she successfully does. Undaunted by attempts to stop her, she has photographed everything from President Obama's Cadillac to Audi's R8 Spyder.
