The new Citroën's new Nemo Multispace MPV is now available in the UK market for a base price of under £10,000. The car features a trip computer, Bluetooth connectivity and a 1.4HDI engine among others.

Citroën's new Nemo Multispace has been announced in the UK. Taking cues from the bigger Berlingo Multispace, the Nemo Multispace offers a number of value propositions to customers who idealise space and extra cash in the pocket above all else.

Buyers can drive away in a Nemo for only £9,995 or even £2,000 less if they qualify for Citroën's Scrappage Incentive. For that price they get a 3.96 metre long family vehicle with front electric windows, split rear seats, a trip computer and remote central locking. The boot space volume is measured at 360 litres. The turning circle is 10 metres.

Inside there are four loud speakers connected to the MP3-compatible CD player with an RDS stereo radio system. Citroën fitted a 12V power socket to charge and run appliances and gadgets that are compatible with it. Bluetooth connectivity and a dashboard-mounted microphone are included.

Running things from under the bonnet is a choice of either a 1.4-litre petrol unit with 75bhp (56kW) or a 1.4HDI turbo diesel producing 70bhp (52kW). Mated to the 1.4HDI is Citroën's automated manual Sensodrive gearbox. The diesel engine is capable of a range of around 620 miles (998km) from a tank and an average fuel economy of 62.8mpg. The car's C02 emissions are 119g/km.
