Video of Lamborghini's new Gallardo LP 560-4 Spyder is now available, showing the new supercar at speed.

In terms of sheer car-porn, it's hard to beat running footage of the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 Spyder, filmed while tearing up the roads somewhere in the American West (it could also be Australia, but the left-hand drive car suggests that this was shot in the States). We'd prefer to hear more of that lovely 5.2 liter V10 engine's singing instead of the techno-porn soundtrack, of course, but that's a matter of personal taste. Either way, it's more entertaining than reading a sterile listing of specifications.

The LP 560-4 Spyder features a revised, smoother-shifting version of Lamborghini's e-gear semi-automatic transmission, as well as running upgrades to the suspension and a new, lighter permanent all-wheel drive system.

Deliveries of the €273,142 (US $371,666) topless Lambo are starting as you read this. The entire production run for 2009 is spoken for, however, so unless you've got yours already ordered, your 324 km/h (201 mph) top-down dreams will have to wait.
