Lexus used the Chicago Auto Show to announce that they will expand their popular line of F-Sport Performance Accessories to the GS, IS all-wheel drive, and the new IS C hardtop convertible. Available this June, the new line of F-Sport accessories are engineered by Toyota Racing Development and come with a 12 month warranty.
Two new brake upgrade packages are available, the front package includes six-piston fixed calipers and drilled cast-iron rotors with a patented internal-fin design mounted on anodized aluminum hubs while the rear package uses four-piston fixed calipers and drilled cast-iron rotors. Both come with performance brake pads and braided stainless-steel brake lines.
Suspension tuning accessories include an F-Sport shock absorber set co-developed by Bilstein, a lowering spring set which reduces the vehicle ride height by about an inch, a sway bar kit featuring larger diameter front-and-rear sway bars for reduced body roll and flatter cornering, and a rear chassis member brace for improved chassis stiffness.
To help seek out a little extra power there's a sport-tuned stainless-steel exhaust, a performance air intake, and for the IS range there is performance clutch set that increases clamping force by approximately 16 percent to handle higher torque loads while providing an improved feel. The IS 250 and 250C can also be equipped with a short throw shifter kit.
On the appearance side Lexus offers lightweight 18 and 19-inch forged alloy wheels in a dark graphite finish, a carbon fiber engine cover, an F-Sport shift knob that is made from leather and carbon fiber, and a four-piece set of F-Sport floor mats.
