The new Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder's starting price has been set at just over €273,000, with deliveries scheduled to begin in spring and a long waiting list already banked.
Lamborghini fans eagerly awaiting the chance to bring home a Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder can now contact the loan officer at the bank with a figure: the new open-topped Lamborghini starts at a cool €273,142 (US $371,666). That price includes BPM and VAT.
Of course, purchasing an open-topped all-wheel drive super car with a 560-horsepower V10 need only be the start. Discerning Lamborghini buyers will want to consider opting for the newly available (in the Spyder) e-gear automated manual six-speed transmission, which is an additional €183,406. Ceramic brake discs will add €19,356, painted calipers in yellow, orange or gray another €1,129, and power heated front seats €4,839. A choice of soft top colors is also available. Expect dealer markups on this hotly anticipated exotic.
The Gallardo's new direct-injection engine provides improved emissions, which aren't typically a concern of exoticar drivers. Improved cooling and a lightened all-wheel drive system, on the other hand, should improve the already staggering performance. The e-gear transmission's shift times have also been improved.
The downside is that the Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder is sold out, of course. There's already a several month waiting list, even though the first cars aren't scheduled to be delivered until spring.
