German model Julia Stegner is the new face of Mercedes-Benz, and she begins the job by introducing the new CLS Grand Edition. We have great photos of the two together, who will take center stage at Fashion Week Berlin next month.
Mercedes-Benz has announced the launch of the new Mercedes-Benz CLS Grand Edition, and they are doing so with German model Julia Stegner. Stegner will be the new face of the Mercedes-Benz fashion division, starting with Fashion Week Berlin 2009.
So why Stegner? Anders Sundt Jensen, VP of Brand Communications at the company said, "She particularly represents the connection between German origin and international flair. That's why in our key visual we have very consciously placed Julia Stegner together with the new Mercedes-Benz CLS Grand Edition, which will be launched on the market in March 2009."
Stegner is wearing a daring Anne Valerie Hash ensemble attached to a matte finished "Designo Magno Platin" CLS 350 CGI Grand Edition. Interior is in "maron" leather, touched with five-spoke 18" AMG light alloys. The four-door coupe is meant to be elegant and sporty, but with the luxury touches found on a sedan.
Of the project, Stegner said, "Mercedes-Benz and fashion - they really fit together well. I think Mercedes-Benz cars are chic - just like fashion. So I'm delighted to be the international fashion brand-ambassador for Mercedes-Benz."
Sales of the car will begin in January, coinciding with the public appearance of the car on the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin red carpet at the end of January. The Mercedes-Benz CLS Grand Edition will hit the market in March 2009.
