Next generation Hyundai Tucson spied for the first time. The new compact SUV, sold internationally, is expect to come to market sometime in 2010.
Here are the first spy shot of the next generation Hyundai Tucson.
The Tucson is Hyundai's compact SUV and comes in one slot beneath the Santa Fe in its product lineup. The current generation Tucson has been in service since 2005 so this coming one should be expected as a 2010 model.
The Tucson currently comes with 2 petrol/gasoline engine variants - a 2.0 liter and a 2.7 liter V6. In Europe, a 2.0 liter diesel is also offered. A four-wheel drive version, featuring a Borg-Warner torque control system is also optional. No new power plants have yet been announced for this next generation Tucson.
The compact SUV shares a platform with the Hyundai Elantra and the Kia Sportage SUV.
These pictures appear to have been taken in front of a Hyundai/Kia Motors headquarters somewhere in Europe. It seems they're keeping this heavily camouflaged Tucson close to home.
