The 21st century sportscar was built on a brand new rear-wheel-drive platform and is available in a choice of three trim levels. The LS and LT models come equipped with a 3.6L V6 engine featuring variable valve timing, output is rated at 300 horsepower and 273 lb-ft (370 Nm) of torque and it acheives a fuel economy figure of 27mpg from highway driving. The top-spec SS model draws its power from a 6.2-liter V8 engine that passes 422 horsepower (315 kW) and 408 lb-ft of torque (553 Nm) to the wheels.
