The all-new, completely-redesigned 2009 Honda Pilot is set to debut at dealerships nationwide on May 22 with a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price starting at $27,595

Today Honda's all new and completely redesigned 2009 Honda Pilot eight-seater SUV will arrive at, and hopefully for Honda start leaving, dealerships across the United States. Pricing has been announced at MSRP USD 27,595 for the entry-level Pilot LX. Prices range all the way up to USD 38,395 for the 2009 Honda Pilot Touring.

"The timing is right for a vehicle like this as fuel prices drive families out of larger SUV's even though their lifestyles still require the type of functionality that Pilot delivers," said Dick Colliver, executive vice president of American Honda. The Honda Pilot is powered by a 3.5 liter, 250 hp i-VTEC V6 engine with Variable Cylinder Management (VCM) which can switch between six-cylinders and 3-4 cylinders depending on circumstances and achieves 17 mpg in the city, 23 mpg for highway driving and 19 mpg on the combined cycle.
