How about an entry-level Porsche 911 with hubcaps? Yes, please.

In some of the market segments, you never really deal with low-end versions of most of the models. Take for example the so-called premium sector, where everyone is spending thousands on optional features and customizations. Even if you play with the online configurators, you won’t be able to spec cars with black bumpers and steel wheels.

To help you imagine a world where base variants of premium, sports, and even exotic cars exist, we’ve selected several renderings from our friend X-Tomi Design. Through the last couple of months, he has published many virtual drawings depicting inexistent low-spec vehicles and some of them are really wild.

Needless to say, there’s a close-to-zero chance of seeing any of these cars in the real world. After all, who would be happy to spend a fortune on a brand new Porsche 911, or even a more mainstream model like an Audi Q3 or a Mercedes-Benz A-Class, and still drive a car with hubcaps?

Flip through the slides above to discover all 13 renderings.
