That’s what Kalashnikov, the Russian defense manufacturing company, is doing, branching out from rifles and handguns into electric cars, motorcycles, and futuristic mechs. 

The company has a wide range of produces for both civilians and the military. Some make sense, such as the OV-2 hybrid buggy while other products such as the Stena Wall Complex feels ready for crowd control in a dystopian future.
