Audi Electric Supercar

Audi Electric Supercar

Release Date: TBD

Audi discontinued the R8 last year and plans to kill off the smaller TT after this year, sadly. That means a new sports car could be on the horizon, and we've seen a number of high-powered concepts that might preview a future Audi supercar. Whatever it may be, we know that the next iteration will be electric since all of the company’s debuts from 2026 will be EV-only.

We expect to see this new Lexus sports car late in 2024 before going on sale sometime in 2025.

Mercedes-Benz AMG GT

Mercedes-AMG Vision AMG Concept

Release Date: 2023

We’ve seen a few different sporty EV concepts from Mercedes-Benz in recent years; the EQ Silver Arrow from 2018, as well as the Vision AMG (pictured here) and the EQXX long-range prototype from last year. But we know that Mercedes is reviving the AMG GT line with a mild-hybrid powertrain as opposed to pure battery power. Spy photos have shown prototypes with the same basic shape as the previous AMG GT, with at least two different powertrains planned: 43 and 53.

Nissan Z Nismo

Nissan Z Nismo Concept

Release Date: 2023

The Nissan Z Nismo has already been spied in prototype form testing on public roads, meaning its debut won’t be that far off. The sportier Z will have more aggressive bodywork to help with aerodynamics, an updated engine with more power, and probably a suspension tune to make it a bit tighter on the track. There’s a good chance that we see the new Nissan Z Nismo before the end of 2023.

Polestar O2 Convertible

Polestar O2 Electric Roadster Concept

Release Date: 2025

Polestar has confirmed that its stunning O2 convertible concept will make its way to production as the Polestar 6. We do know that whenever this new hypercar eventually does arrive, it’s destined to be electric.
