Cadillac also offers the ATS coupe and sedan with a tubocharged 2.0-liter engine making 272 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. The ATS with the 3.6-liter engine is only available with an automatic transmission.
Porsche 911 Carrera T
Porsche is a purist’s dream with its generous offerings of manual transmissions. Porsche has pledged to offer more “pure” driving models, and in making that announcement unveiled the Porsche 911 Carrera T sports car. With a biturbo flat-six 3.0-liter engine in the rear paired with a seven-speed manual transmission. The engine produces 370 horsepower and 331 pound-feet of torque. The T also reduces weight by 44 pounds to help enhance the driving experience.

Various Porsche 911 and 718 Boxster/Cayman models offer a manual transmission. However, while the bigger 911 receives a manual with seven forward speeds, a six-speed manual transmission is available with the Porsche 718.
The manual transmission may not be popular, but that didn’t stop the Jaguar from taking its automatic-only F-Type and offering it with a manual. However, the manual is only available with the V6 engine on both the coupe and convertible, so if you were hoping to harness that V8 power, you’re out of luck.
The six-speed manual pairs with the automaker’s supercharged 3.0-liter V6, which can produce 340 horsepower or 380 hp. The manual is only available with rear-wheel-drive F-Type models. If you want all-wheel drive, you will have to option to the automatic transmission.
Audi A5 Coupe
Audi once offered a manual transmission on an assortment of vehicles at various performance levels, but over the years, to meet customer preferences and fuel efficiency standards, manual transmissions have slowly disappeared from the German automaker’s lineup. Of the few models that offer a manual gearbox is the Audi A5 Coupe.
BMW still caters to enthusiasts with offering a manual transmission on its purest sports cars, such as the M2 coupe. The M2 is one of BMW’s most pure driving machines it offers right now, combing performance and its two-door packaging into one menacing vehicle. In the M2, the six-speed manual pairs with a biturbocharged 3.0-liter straight-six engine producing 365 horsepower and 343 pound-feet of torque. BMW claims the M2 with the manual is 0.02 seconds slower to 60 miles per hours (4.3 seconds); however, there is a joy in shifting gears.
The German automaker offers several other models with a manual transmission – both for hardcore enthusiasts and those who enjoy shifting their own gears. BMW offers a manual transmission with the 2, 3, and 4 Series. It also offers a manual gearbox on several M performance models such as the M3 and M4.
Aston Martin Vantage
However, the new Vantage Aston Martin unveiled late last year that isn’t coming with a manual transmission out of the gate. Earlier this month, the automaker says the option is a still year or more away. While there won’t be a Vantage available with a manual for a small period, at least the automaker is committed to the at least offering the option in the future. Hopefully, Aston doesn’t’ change its mind by then.
The Genesis G70 with the manual transmission is kind of an oddity. Manual transmissions in luxury cars are rare, yet, here’s Genesis offering a new car with a six-speed manual transmission. However, like other automakers, the company is limiting which trim can receive the gearbox.
If you want a Genesis G70 with the manual, you will have to opt for the rear-wheel-drive, turbocharged four-cylinder engine model. The engine produces 252 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. Available options include Brembo brakes
