Chevrolet is looking to steal some of the Mustang's thunder as they have released the first teaser image of the 2015 Corvette Z06.
Set to debut at the North American International Auto Show, the model was "designed to deliver supercar levels of performance through unique powertrain, chassis and aerodynamic features."
The teaser image doesn't reveal much but it shows the highly-anticipated sports car will have carbon fiber side skirts, rear quarter vents and unique alloy wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires.
There's no word on what will power the car but previous reports have indicated it could have a naturally-aspirated 7.0-liter V8 engine that develops 600 bhp (447 kW). If this number pans out, the Z06 would only be 38 bhp (24 kW) less powerful than the previous ZR1.
