Our spies have sent a fresh batch of photos with next generation of the Audi Q7 set for a 2015 market release.
Last time we saw a 2015 Q5 prototype was near the European beaches and now the car has been spotted somewhere in Germany undergoing handling tests ahead of what will be a 2014 reveal as a 2015MY. By the looks of these photos the new Q7 seems to be a bit smaller than the current model and it also appears to be lower.
The new Q7 will reportedly lose as much as 363 kg (800 lbs) and will get several six- and eight-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines, including a 310 HP V6 3.0-liter TFSI and a 385 HP V8 4.2-liter TDI. There will also be a plug-in hybrid version equipped with a 3.0-liter TDI and a 115 HP electric motor.
It will likely be shown to the public next March at the Geneva Motor Show or several months later at the Paris Motor Show in September.
