Cadillac to offer more VSport models - report

Cadillac product director Hampden Tener has revealed plans to offer more Vsport models.

Speaking to the Detroit News, Tener said “In the future you can look to us to expand this idea to additional models, additional vehicle models, and also using the branding for performance or sport appearance-related options and accessories." He declined to mention which vehicles will get the Vsport treatment but the ATS seems like a natural candidate as it could provide a stepping stone to the upcoming ATS-V.

As we have previously reported, the CTS and XTS VSports are distinguished by a revised grille, special alloy wheels and a twin-turbo 3.6-liter V6 engine. The engine produces 410 bhp (305 kW) and 369 lb-ft (500 Nm) of torque in the XTS VSport and 420 bhp (313 kW) and 430 lb-ft (583 Nm) of torque in the CTS VSport.
