2014 SsangYong Korando facelift spied undisguised

The 2014 SsangYong Korando facelift has been photographed without any camouflage, showing a surprisingly appealing design.

SsangYong's styling department is certainly not one of the best out there since they were responsible for the Rodius. However, things are about to change with the facelifted Korando which is without any doubt the firm's most attractive car. The revised model comes with a sharper front fascia which looks modern thanks to those angular headlights and the inclusion of LED daytime running lights.

The front grille has also been reworked as it now sports sharp edges and comes with a thin strip of chrome running along its entire length. Minor tweaks to the front bumper and fog lights are also part of the package, while the taillights have also gone through a revision based on previous spy photos. The interior cabin boasts an extended center console with a touchscreen display, along with several faux wood inserts and silver trim.

Power will probably come from the same 2.0-liter diesel engine offered (depending on the market) with 149 bhp (111 kW) and 175 bhp (130 kW). This engine can be linked to either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission.
