The 2015 Mercedes S-Class Coupe has been spied undergoing testing on the Nürburgring.
Designed to replace the CL, the S-Class Coupe has a conservative design that features a single bar grille and slender headlights. We can also see a rakish roofline, wraparound taillights and a dual exhaust system.
Engine options will likely be shared with the S-Class sedan, so expect the S500 variant to be powered by a 4.7-liter V8 that develops 455 HP (335 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. The engine will likely be joined by a couple of V12s and a twin-turbo V8 in the S63.
The S-Class Coupe could be unveiled early next year, possibly at the Geneva or Shanghai Motor Show.
