A recent report involving the 2015 BMW X6 suggests the model will adopt a more aggressive look and should be longer as well.
It will ride on the same platform as the third-gen X5 and will be a follow-up to the current version but with a more aggressive styling. Autocar cites a BMW insider who said "we want to give our sporting models a more individual look, further separating them visually from the more practical models in our lineup."
Thanks to an elongated wheelbase, the next generation of the BMW X6 will provide additional legroom for the rear passengers. Under the hood it will get a variety of inline 6-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines, gasoline V8s and a plug-in gasoline-electric hybrid scheduled for a 2015 arrival.
The new X6 is expected to make its public debut at the 2014 Moscow Motor Show before going on sale in the third quarter of the same year.
