2014 BMW 4-Series Coupe caught undisguised during photo shoot

BMW's highly-anticipated 4-Series Coupe has been caught undisguised during a photo shoot.

Looking virtually identical to the concept that debuted at the North American International Auto Show, the production model closely resembles the 3-Series but is distinguished by a revised front fascia, ventilated front fenders and new taillights.

At launch, the model is expected to be offered with two different engines - a 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder with 245 HP (180 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque as well as a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo inline-six with 306 HP (225 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. The engines will be connected to a six-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed automatic gearbox. Rear-wheel drive will be standard, but all-wheel drive could be optional.

The BMW 4-Series Coupe is slated to go into production in July, so expect to learn more in the coming months.
