Car designer Theophilus Chin is envisioning a new Mercedes-Benz model slotted below the A-Class.
Some reports say Mercedes-Benz is working on a new model which will be positioned below the current A-Class as a competitor for the next generation of the MINI which will be out later this year in addition to the Audi A1, Citroën DS3, Fiat 500. Looking a lot like a baby A-Class, the render shows a car featuring a shorter wheelbase and a five-door hatchback configuration.
Such a model could see the light of day taking into account Mercedes-Benz has already confirmed 13 all-new models by 2020 for the U.S. market. The German company plans a total of 30 new cars based on these 13 all-new models. One of them could be a MINI competitor.
