BMW has quietly unveiled the M6 GranCoupe at a private event in Germany.
Despite trying to keep a lid on its debut, several pictures managed to slip out. This is fortunate for us as we can see the model will have an aggressive front fascia, aerodynamic side skirts and 20-inch alloy wheels that are backed up by high-performance brakes. We can also see a carbon fiber roof and a four-tailpipe exhaust system.
Like the coupe and convertible, the M6 GranCoupe will be powered by a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine that develops 560 HP (412 kW) and 680 Nm (502 lb-ft) of torque. It will be connected to a seven-speed M Double Clutch Transmission which should enable the model to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in approximately 4.5 seconds and hit a limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).
The latest M6 variant is expected to be announced next month, before its public debut at the North American International Auto Show.
