New Corvette C7 front and rear leaked in manufacturing video

The front bumper of the much anticipated next-generation Corvette C7 has leaked via a manufacturing video released by American plastics and die cast mold manufacturer and GM supplier, Omega Tool Corporation. Originally posted by Omega tool, the video was taken down once news broke, but not before copies were ripped and re-uploaded.

The video mainly shows a computer graphic of how the plastic front bumper fascia is molded and pressed into shape. Regarding the front bumper's design we can see the headlamps will be more acutely angled and have a more aggressive look. Later in the video at 1:07 the metal stamping of the rear body panel/fascia is also shown.

Despite the rare spy photos and video that have managed to be captured so far, very little information has surfaced on the new C7 Corvette. Latest rumors suggested the model will use a pushrod V8 with direct-injection and variable valve timing. There has also been speculation that the car could be equipped with a seven-speed manual transmission.

Regardless of the final details, the next-generation Corvette will be built in Bowling Green, Kentucky and is expected to be revelaed towards the end of the year followed by a market launch sometime next year.
