Jeep Grand Wagoneer and pickup confirmed - report

According to recent reports, Jeep will be adding two new vehicles to their lineup.

The first new model will be a seven-seat Grand Wagoneer that is scheduled to be launched in January 2013. Details are limited, but the luxury-oriented SUV will be built on the same platform as the Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango. This means engine options will likely include a 290 hp (216 kW / 294 PS) 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and a 360 hp (268 kW / 365 PS) 5.7-liter HEMI V8.

As for the second vehicle, it will be the long-awaited Scrambler revival. While Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne is careful about calling the model a pickup, he stated "there's a better than 50 percent chance" it will be a production version of the Gladiator concept.
