2012 Buick Verano specs leaked

New details are starting to emerge about the 2012 Buick Verano as a dealer survey has been leaked to the web.

Created to ascertain what dealers would order, the survey reveals the Verano will likely have four different trim levels with the base 1SB costing approximately $20,900 to $21,500. Moving up to the 1SD ($22,100 to $22,700) adds remote start, automatic dual-zone climate control, and a premium audio system with Bluetooth connectivity.

Further up, the 1SG ($23,300 to $23,900) combines the aforementioned equipment with a power driver's seat, heated exterior mirrors, rear park assist, and a backup camera. The range-topping 1SL ($25,600 to $26,200) boasts all the previous equipment as well as heated leather seats, passive entry, keyless ignition, a Bose audio system, and 18-inch alloy wheels.

Under the hood, power will reportedly come from a 2.4-liter Ecotec engine that produces 182 hp (136 kW / 185 PS) and 172 lb-ft (233 Nm) of torque. It will be mated exclusively to a six-speed automatic transmission.

As we have previously reported, the Cruze-based Verano will feature styling inspired by the Chinese Buick Excelle GT and be built at GM's Lake Orion assembly plant.
