The new picture of what appears to be the 2016 Acura ILX has surfaced on Instagram.

Posted by automotive photographer Brian Garland, the image reveals a substantially revised model which features a number of styling cues from the new TLX.  The biggest change is a more aggressive front bumper which features larger air intakes and more prominent fog lights.  The entry-level sedan also has Jewel-Eye LED headlights and a revised grille that should help the model to eschew its 'fancy Civic' persona.

As we have previously reported, the 2016 ILX facelift will be unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show and Acura has already said it will receive a "comprehensive update that includes a potent new powertrain, more forceful, sporty exterior styling, and substantially upgraded interior design."
