Toyota 86 GRMN
This is the limited run Toyota 86 GRMN. That GRMN stands for Gazoo Racing Masters of Nurburgring. It’s not just another fancy name, it signifies a lighter, slightly more powerful 86 than the one you get from the factory.
The horsepower has been bumped from the standard 200 to something closer to 216. Torque as well has been upped from 151 lb-ft to 160. It may not sound like much, but consider that this special edition 86 also went on a diet and shed just about 100 pounds.
Included in the 100-pound weight loss is the introduction of a rear wing, a carbon fiber hood, and some aerodynamic enhancements throughout.
This special edition 86 will be available exclusively to Japanese buyers, at a cost of $53,800.
