The Kar-a-Sutra is a concept of industrial design applied to a car, built in 1972 by Mario Bellini in collaboration with the Citroen and MoMA.
The concept car, built on a Citroen SM chassis, was exposed to the MoMA of New York during the great exhibition dedicated to Italian design in 1972: The New Domestic Landscape.
It is in fact one of the proposals in response to the invitation received from the Bellini museum itself. It is a concept car that has greatly influenced the future automotive industry in the years to follow; you can define in fact the precursor of the modern minivan.
