GWA Studebaker Veinte Victorias
In tribute to the 1954 Studebaker being the only car in the history of the Carrera Panamericana to win 20 times, GWA has designed a tribute car name the “Viente Victorias,” or 20 Wins. The Studebaker outraced the likes of Porsche, Aston Martin, Jaguars, Mercedes-Benz, and the likes of many other European competitors. For nine consecutive years, the Stude was the unbeatable one. Base MSRP $250,000 (est.)
GWA’s idea was to create only 20 examples of the Veinte Victorias, making this car extremely exclusive and rare to find. 19 examples of the car will be painted in the yellow livery with Italian colors, while only one will be a black versions to be kept as the pace car of the event for the years to come and would be serial # 1/20. The car makes use of Brembo HPK brakes, a special suspension and a reinforced tubular chassis. GWA even designed and crafted the 19x8.5 front and 19x11 rear wheels with Bridgestone tires. A quad-tipped exhaust system manufactured by Fabspeed is mounted underneath a carbon rear diffuser.
There has not been any pictures or even much information at all on what the interior will be like in the 2015 Studebaker. What can be gather from the information available now is that the 2015 GWA Studebaker will feature two sporty bucket seats surrounded by fully reinforced roll cage painted Rosso Red. Leather and fine materials are likely used around the entire cabin.
Harnessing a 6.2-liter LS9 Supercharged V8 directly from a corvette, the Studebaker pumps out an impressive 620 horsepower and 604 lb-ft of torque. Paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, reaching 60 mph from a standstill only takes around 3.8 seconds and a top speed comes in at 217 mph.
