Oldsmobile 442 Convertible

Oldsmobile began advertising the high-performance 442 as “The Swashbuckler,” and the “anti-boredom machine,” both appropriate monikers for a car described by Car and Driver magazine as the "best-handling car of its type we've ever tested." Adding a convertible top to the 442’s heady mix of acceleration, handling and style made for a very attractive machine to its young target audience.
