Lamborghini Ganador Concept by Mohammad Hossein Amini Yekta
The idea was very simple - design a super sport, having in mind the design values of Lamborghini and at the same time keeping the simplicity without the design being over complex.
The main task was to bring Lamborghini design elements together with a touch of luxurious soul and general sportiness. The overall design is more focused on being elegant rather than being sporty, but at the same time tried to keep the aggressive look and uncompromising soul. Using some details like the tail lights -which are hidden behind the blades in which when they are on- they give the feeling that a wild animal is trapped inside.
The main design feature of the concept is that the car is divided to two parts; the lower and the upper body; with a very powerful line which goes around the body. This line gives the sharp and aggressive look to the car and also appears as if the upper part is reflected on the lower.
The transparent "see trough" upper body part with clean surfaces, sharp edge and crystalline volume in contrast with the muscular and athletic form in the lower part and a powerful heart underneath resemble a gentleman with a muscular body, wearing a tuxedo.
This project was developed during the first semester of 2011-12 academic year of masters program at SPD in collaboration with Lamborghini S.p.A.
