de Macross Epique GT1
The de Macross Epique GT1 is the realization of one man's dream and passion. Mr. Keyser Jahong Hur, a collector of legendary and vintage sports cars, wanted to create a modern tribute to classic designs. The de Macross Epique GT1 was born from Mr. Hur's sketches, in an attempt to capture the sensuous lines of the late 60s and early 70s Le Mans race cars with a modern interpretation. This South Korean designed supercar is being built in Canada.
This mid-engined, 2-seat, race spirited de Macross Epique GT1 poses a certain nostalgic and analogue look that distinguishes itself from the modern pack of sports and supercars. The Epique GT1 is built with a mixture of traditional craftsmanship and the most advanced technologies available today while persevering the raw driving pleasure of pure racers.
It features a Multimatic engineered hybrid carbon fiber and aluminum monocoque tub structured and 4-way independently adjustable Dynamic Suspension Spool Valve (DSSV) dampers. The Epique GT1's solid and stable body, chassis structure and the state-of-the-art adjustable suspension system is best pushed to the limits by a bespoke supercharged 5.4 liter aluminum V8 that boasts 845 horsepower and 740 lb-ft torque. The de Macross Epique GT1 embodies a 'GT racer' that delivers exceptional performance with confidence on any track and is also poised to radiate its elegance in daily life on the street, providing true performance in elegance.
