Mercury Custom Coupe by Chip Foose

This sleek, meticulously finished Mercury custom was built in the Boyd Coddington shops to a design by Chip Foose. Begun in the early 1990s the customization took three years to complete.

While it's 500 hp 502 cubic inch V8 engine gives acceleration comparable to that of drag racers, it is outfitted with air conditioning, disc brakes, a custom dash, and Alpine stereo for comfortable cruising.

The specially designed "Sombrero" billet wheels and the full leather interior by Gabe complete the clean look of this 1996 Harry Bradley award-winning coupe.
