Lamborghini Diablo 6.0

The Diablo 6.0 is a new comparison to the world of supercar. In fact the only possible comparison is with the MY 99 of Diablo against which we find an increase in engine capacity of 285 cc, which is then increased to 5992 cc, with a consequent increase in power, 20 CV, which now reaches 550 HP (U.S. version: 540 hp). The couple is being further improved to 620 Nm at 5500 rpm instead of 605 Nm of the model of last year.

In line with tradition Lamborghini were made several technical improvements to the management of electronic engine, the chassis, suspensions and exhaust system. The design of the bodywork is always in line with the tradition while presenting a new front bumper and spoiler with redesigned. The fenders were widened to fit track front and rear enlarged.

The whole body is now made of carbon fiber, except for goalkeeper, who for security reasons are still in aluminum and steel pavilion made because structural part of the frame. The chassis was reinforced with inserts carbon fiber which increases the torsional rigidity of the structure.

The new engine 6 litres V12 delivers 550 hp well, 405 kW (U.S. version: 540 hp, 397 kW) at 7100 rpm with a maximum torque of 620 Nm at 5500 rpm. It is equipped with a variable intake system, derived from well-tested system in use on Diablo MY 98 and 99 to ensure the best efficiency of filling and a good pair not only to regional rotation high but also to those low.

The new 6-litre engine mounts titanium rods and a crankshaft lightened, to improve performance. The exhaust system was redesigned to reduce back-pressure system and provides the Lamborghini ENCS to control the noise.
