Mercedes-Benz CLK430 Cabriolet
The Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class was available as a coupe or convertible. The CLK-Class was based on the C-Class platform but shared styling cues and engines comparable to that of the E-Class. The CLK introduced a new market niche for Mercedes-Benz.
The CLK430 was powered by a 4.3L V8 and produced 275 horsepower. In 1999, the 2000 model year received a facelift with side-view mirror-mounted turn signals and a new steering wheel.
The CLK-Class featured a number of innovative accessories and systems, such as tow-away protection and an emergency transmission mode.
