BMW M3 Sedan

As a coupe, the BMW M3 is a gorgeous and powerful force to be dealt with. As a sedan, the 2009 BMW M3 is a gorgeous and powerful force to be dealt with, and you can bring your family along for the ride. For 2009, BMW has redesigned certain aspects of the sedan, many of which came from consumer feedback.

Engineers made subtle changes to the exterior of the BMW M3 Sedan. The 2009 BMW M3 now features divided rear taillights with the brand-typical L-shaped contour seen on the 3-series. The two LED light clusters for the taillights and indicator lights, both featuring LED technology, have a very high-quality appearance, which is also very distinctive to the eye. The rear end of the BMW M3 Sedan also features a more rounded design than the previous 2008 M3 Sedan thanks to a new bumper and rear lid. The choices of exterior colors available for the 2009 BMW M3 were widened dramatically, due to consumer demand. New for 2009, Space Gray Metallic became an available option for the M3 Sedan as well as Le Mans Blue Metallic.

A new addition to the interior for 2009 is a newly conceived fresh air grille that is located in the center of the cockpit. BMW designed a new storage area underneath the armrest on the center console for a cell phone or keys. A new pearlescent chrome trim became available in 2009 for the light switch cluster as well as the new start and stop button and the rotary controls for the air conditioning. All variants of the BMW M3 became equipped with crash-active headrests that reduce the risk of cervical injury in the event of a rear end collision.

The 2009 BMW M3 Sedan is powered by a unique, hand-built 4.0-liter V8, producing 414 horsepower and 295 ft-lb of torque at a stratospheric 8,400 rpm. Reaching 60 mph from a standing start takes only 4.7 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph.
