Hareide Design's Mega Yacht is the Stuff of Dreams
There are yachts—and then there are mega yachts. These behemoths are more like luxury hotels on the water with plush accommodations to satisfy even the most discerning millionaire. Your latest choice comes from Norwegian company Hareide Design. This mega yacht is 354-feet long with an open-air design to let you fully enjoy the beauty of the ocean. There's an elevated dining area and viewing area along with a garden. These surround a 65-foot pool. It all tapers down to the water at the stern of the yacht to create a dramatic vantage point. Should you want a break from the sun, then head inside to the grand hall. This interior space still provides a beautiful view of the water so you and your guests never forget that they're cruising the ocean in the lap of luxury.
It's all based on the classic mono hull design with a dash of Scandinavian simplicity. Despite its grand size, this luxury cruiser is green with over 3000 square feet of solar panels to charge banks of lithium-ion batteries. Hareide Design says it's enough power for slow cruising while an optional diesel-electric engine is available for long distance adventures.
