Don’t Want to Miss the Chance to Buy Steven Tyler’s $1.1M Supercar

Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler is a man of many hair dos (and don'ts). I think we can place part of the blame on his 1,200-horsepower Hennessey Venom GT, sans roof. Thankfully, his hairdresser will be pleased to find out he's parting ways with his million-dollar supercar. The legendary rockstar is auctioning off his Hennessey Venom GT Spyder for charity. This is the rocker's personal car, which he purchased back in 2012, and he's had some fun with it. But now, he's using it to raise money for Janie's Fund, which helps abused and neglected girls. He says he never had the chance to top it out, but only took it to a much more reasonable 140 mph, which is still a darn fast ride. Talking to FoxNews, he suggested taking the Hennessey to an airport early in the morning to see if the folks in charge will let you take it for a spin down the runway. Of course, he also suggests letting them have a chance to do the same, which is pretty darn trusting. The minimum bid on the car is $1.1 million. This is the same price he paid for the car when it was new. If you've got that kind of cash, then email richard.shaw@janiesfund.org to place your bid.
