Clarion Builds BMW 2002 Raises $125,000 For Charity

The stunning custom BMW 2002 that graced our front page last week rolled onto the auction block this past Saturday in Palm Beach, Florida, and the first car from the Clarion Builds series surely did not disappoint. One hundred percent of the $125,000 hammer price will be donated to the TGen Foundation, a non-profit organization doing biomedical research to find cures, treatments, and therapies for cancer, and other life threatening complex diseases. I have to give credit to Coupe King for perfectly executing such a comprehensive build that's worth of every penny the winning bidder spent on it. RELATED: Take a Closer Look at the Iconic BMW 2002

I don't know who took home this amazing machine, but I'd like to think that it's someone who is as enthusiastic about driving as they are generous with their money. Pristine though it may be, a car like this deserves to be driven, and driven regularly, so hopefully it'll get a great deal of use, and put smiles on many an occupant's face for years to come.
