This Hellcat-Powered Jeep Wrangler is 707HP Worth of Pure Off-Road Fury

The Moab Easter Safari is just a few days away, and with that, Jeep wanted to make sure that there was enough meat on the bone—or in this case, concepts in the stable, to make things interesting yet again for 2016. The brand did not disappoint, and this 707-horsepower, Hellcat-powered Jeep Trailcat is the centerpiece. The reality of it is, Jeep engineers just went and shoved a Hellcat engine into a Jeep Wrangler. But it’s not just any Wrangler, as you can plainly see. The wheelbase has been extended 12 inches, front and rear Dana 60 axles and Fox shocks were added, as well as some ginormous 39.5-inch BF-Goodrich Krawler T/A KX tires ensure the utmost grip. The best part, arguably, is the six-speed manual transmission. That not only makes it an off-road enthusiasts dream, but also pretty darn fun in a straight line (if you’re willing). The exterior gets a green and black finish, an open-top with a roll cage, and the word “Trailcat” emblazoned on the side. While the interior gets sport bucket seats from the freakin’ Viper, covered in Katzkin leather. It’s one heluva concept, and it’s slated to take on Moab in just a few days. Those trails won’t know what hit them. RELATED: 707-Horsepower Dodge Challenger Hellcat Wagon is Beyond Cool
