Husqvarna's New Vitpilen Bikes and 701 Concept are the Definition of Desirable
Husqvarna is going all in with its street bikes with production of two new Vitpilen bikes and a new Vitpilen 701 concept bike. It's the continuation of their 112-year-old heritage and a commitement to their motorcycle lineup. These bikes will take the brand forward while staying true to its history. Following the successful launch of the 701 Enduro and 701 Supermoto, the Vitpilen 401 will be the next to hit showrooms. Its design emulates the Husqvarna Silverpilen, which was a 1950s street bike. This new bike combines modern tech with premium components and is set to go on sale in the spring of 2017. RELATED: See Images of the 1971 Husqvarna 250 Moto-Cross by Steve McQueen
Alongside the Vitpilen 401 will be the Vitpilen 125. This more minimalist bike has a single-cylinder engine and keeps design elements similar to the 401 Vitpilen. Lastly, the Vitpilen 701 will take the Husqvarna design language into the future.
According to Husqvarna, the Vitpilen 701 concept breaks with rules and traditions to create a thoroughly modern bike. It has a large displacement single-cylinder engine, and seeks to provide a truly exhilarating and authentic experience for riders
