Yes, according to TMZ, the previous owner of this 2009 Maybach 62S on eBay is one Carlos Irwin Estevez…but you may know him as Hollywood wild-man Charlie Sheen. Aside from the celebrity ownership, the Maybach is bulletproof! His response for selling the car? “Done dodging bullets. Fetching nearly $500,000 when new, the Maybach 62S was the pinnacle of the closed-top lineup in 2009 (the partially convertible Laundalet was a flight of fancy that year, at $1.35 million). The 62S, like every Maybach, was built-to-order and this was ordered as bulletproof- given the last decade, bullets are the least of his worry.

The 62S features a Mercedes-Benz 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 with a peak output of 604 horsepower (or 612, or 620, depending on the year). That could actually get the 6,200-pound 62S from zero to sixty in just 4.5 seconds. But the Maybach’s calling card is its luxury, and you could have yours outfitted with a plethora of custom touches when new.
