Stunning Custom BMW R nineT Motorcycle Will Leave You Lusting
This is the Bavarian Fistfighter. It's got a cool name, and it's an absolutely drop-dead-gorgeous custom BMW R nineT created by Winston Yeh of Rough Crafts, as a tribute to the past, mixed in with all of today's modern technology. Since BMW has a rich heritage, the goal in creating this bike was to keep a sense of the brand's history and then add more modern touches. They originally spoke with BMW's Head of Vehicle Design, Ola Stenegärd, at several bike shows about working together, but the project didn't come together until BMW Motorrad Taiwan reached out to Rough Crafts. According to BikeExif, the aluminum fuel tank takes the same lines as '70s and '80s airheads and houses the fuel pump, battery, and electronics box. The single seat is a tribute to the BMWs of the '50s while the wheels are a Rough Crafts design based on BMW snowflake rims.
This bike gets 110 horsepower from a 1170cc boxer twin. It's beautiful and uncomplicated, right down to the all-black finish with only silver leaf pinstriping and one-off badges on either side of the tank for accent. It's an incredibly beautiful design that's one-part showpiece and one-part track-ready monster.
