'Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee' Season 7 Will Feature a Very Special Guest

Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee has become not only an enthusiast destination to see cool classic cars, but also a cultural convention that goes beyond traditional car networks. It’s a way of connecting the classic cars Jerry Seinfeld brings onto the program, with the comedians (or otherwise) sitting inside of them. Over the course of what is now seven seasons, Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee has continually upped the celebrity and car factor, and the upcoming season is set to become one of the most prodigious seasons yet. Not only will the great Steve Martin show up and drive along in a classic Ferrari worth a small fortune, but the President of the United States will also make an appearance. According to The Today Show, Barack Obama will be one of Jerry Seinfeld’s guests on one of the upcoming episodes of the now famous web series. Besides talking about his presidency, comedy, and other fun things, the President and Seinfeld are said to take a classic C2 Corvette and drive around the Rose Garden with the President in the driver’s seat. Though, it seems that the two won’t stay in the classic Corvette for all that long, as a picture of the two laughing was captured in what appears to be the President’s Cadillac nicknamed, “The Beast.” An apt nickname for a car that has more in common with an M1 Abrahams tank than a stretch XTS or CT6. According to Crackle, which is the website that produces the show, “The episode featuring President Obama was shot at the White House earlier this month, and features both the President and Seinfeld driving a 1963 Corvette Stingray Split Window Coupe, and talking about life in the White House over coffee.” Seinfeld had this to say about the experience, “Growing up in the ‘60s my kid dream was always to be an astronaut-doing a comedy show with President Obama in and around the White House felt like going into space. How did I get here? Is this really happening?” Season 7 of Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee will debut on Dec. 30. RELATED: Could Obama's Limo Hypothetically Be Recalled?
