12 Ferrari Concept Cars That Could Preview the Future of the Brand
Ferrari design typically holds little restraint. Just look at cars like the F50, the Enzo, and the LaFerrari. In that vein of unrestricted design, execs tasked a number of young designers with the responsibility of predicting the future design language of the brand. The results are mostly breathtaking. The contest began in October of 2014, and lasted over a year, with hundreds of students trying their hand. Now, 12 finalists from four different universities have been chosen, and Ferrari is letting you vote on Facebook for the one you like the most. Browse all of them below and tell us what you think. What looks very much like something out of a post-apocalyptic sci-fi thriller, the Ferrari 422 Dualita Concept comes from a student at Hochschule Pforzheim.
With less sci-fi and more supercar, the Ferrari Parabolica concept also comes from a student at Hochschule Pforzheim and previews a high-end hypercar the likes of the LaFerrari.

Really playing up to the sci-fi theme, the Ferrari FL concept more closely resembles a bumper car than it does a supercar. Still interesting nonetheless.
Shifting away from the overly-futuristic look, students from the College for Creative Studies preview a more realistic lineup of supercars. The first of which being the FuTurismo.

Using a number of similar cues from the FuTurismo concept above, the Intervallo takes a more aggressive approach. Also from the College for Creative Studies.
Subdued aggression is the name of the game for the Ferrari Duo concept. Designed by students at the College for Creative Studies, it follows a similar design pattern as the previous two concepts, but features a more sleek design.

Aggression is just part of the formula for Ferrari engineers, but if it were up to students at ISD-Rubika, Valenciennes, it would be a top priority. The Manifesto concept seen here was painted in black to further support the theme.
Straying a bit from the traditional supercar design, one student at ISD-Rubike, Valenciennes went the way of the track car for this creative concept.

Mixing a number of cues from the two previous concepts, the Ferrari F247 concept feels to be the best of both worlds. Track-oriented performance, Ferrari supercar aggression.
Students at Hongik University decided sophistication would be atop the priority list for their concepts. The ViventeRossa not only displays that feature in design, but also name.

Using a similar design structure as the ViventeRossa, the Ferrari Stereo concept is even more sophisticated with a completely silver body, and subtle, dramatic cues throughout.
