Watch Jay Leno Unravel the Raucous Drakan Spyder Track Toy

Believe it or not, we actually got a chance to drive the wonderfully performance-oriented Drakan Spyder pretty much before anyone else. Not that we’re gloating or anything. In haste, it seems that the man of the hour, Mr. Jay Leno, had to take a backseat to our shenanigans. But don’t worry, Jay finally got his hands on one of America’s hottest new track toys. Like the BAC Mono, Ariel Atom, and many others he’s had the opportunity to drive before it, Jay finds pleasure in the simple things—like 420 horsepower strapped onto an exposed chassis with the wind in your face. In case you’re short on memory, the Drakan Spyder features a Palatov-designed suspension paired with an LS3 V8 and somewhere near 420 horsepower at the wheels. It’s all very impressive for a car weighing just about 2,000 pounds. Price for the Drakan Spyder starts at just $100,000—a bargain for the performance you’re guaranteed. Though, there is one problem: they’re all pretty much sold out. Seems you’ll have to wait for the next generation if you plan on keeping one in your driveway.
