Check out These Amazing Star Wars-Themed Planes and Trains
With mere weeks until the debut of the new Star Wars, we’re on the verge of losing our collective minds for The Force Awakens. J.J. Abrams and the entirety of Disney has worked the public into an absolute frenzy. This has manifested in the film already collecting over $50 million in advance ticket sales around the world and a ton of tie-in advertisement that goes from “We want it,” to, “Holy BB-8s, they did what?!” What we have today is a fairly comprehensive list of the latter, including some awesome BB-88 stuff. If you saw the train before, you’d have been forgiven to think Japan had always been advertising Star Wars. However, for the film, the Japanese train has been repainted in Sith black, and covered in a ton of images from the upcoming movie, including one giant picture of the new big baddie, Kylo Ren and his flipping awesome lightsaber. Inside the train, posters and toys are scattered around giving passengers the opportunity to play with it all and feel like a child once again.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens R2-D2 Plane
Using a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, and through the Japanese airline ANA, Star Wars and Disney have repainted the hull of the 787 to resemble R2-D2. It also has massive lettering that say Star Wars on the side of the plane in case you forgot that R2-D2 was from the movie. ANA stated, “the R2-D2 character has a reputation for strong, reliable service, one of the hallmarks of ANA’s 5-Star quality service.” All we care about is whether or not it will make any flights to Naboo or Coruscant?

Star Wars: The Force Awakens BB-8 Plane
Because two iconic droids isn’t enough, the creators of The Force Awakens had to go and create another adorable droid that has literally taken the world by storm. Everything has been fit with the pudgy cuteness that is the rolling ball we’ve come to know as BB-8. In addition to their R2-D2 plane, ANA will also have a BB-8 themed 787 Dreamliner in service. Starting this month, the airline will serve food and drinks on Star Wars themed napkins and plates and have all six, for better or worse, Star Wars movies available as in-flight entertainment.
