Yamaha and Roland Sands Team up to Build the Faster Wasp
Retro-themed motorcycles are the pure embodiment of cool, and bike-makers are keen to take advantage of this by commissioning extremely limited run retro motorcycles with help from the best in the game. To that end, Yamaha has teamed up with racer and bike-builder Roland Sands to create this incredible bike, called the Faster Wasp. The Faster Wasp is said to pay homage to a legendary bike, the TZ750. It has the look of the old bike, but with all new components, in a formula called “Faster Sons.” The “faster” part could maybe just come from the 850cc inline-3 that is shoehorned into the bike. The design calls for elements like a gas tank, tail section, radiator covers and front fender that have all been custom-fabricated. There are plenty of other custom components, panels, and parts. Check out more on the bike in the video below.

It is great to see Sands designing and building the bike all in the same shop as so many of his past rides from his racing days and past creations. They all make for a perfect visual representation of the inspirations for such a bike like the Faster Wasp.
