The entire enthusiast community has been patiently waiting for someone to bring together all three hybrid hypercars and see which one is the fastest. For a while, many thought the first time they’d all get together would be with the gentlemen from Top Gear. However, due to unforeseen circumstances involving Jeremy Clarkson punching a producer and promptly getting sacked, the test between the trio never materialized. We thus were made to wait once again. Then, a month ago, a teaser emerged with the three hypercars next to one another and what appeared to be them hitting the racetrack. Our hearts became overjoyed; we were finally going to see how all three of these million-dollar plus hypercars stack up against one another. For the video, those behind TheSUPERCARDRIVER got in touch with Paul Bailey, the man that owns these three hypercars, and decided that a proper test and shootout was in order. Three weeks ago, we saw the first installment of the three-part series. The hypercars were flogged around a short course at the famed Silverstone Circuit. In the end, the McLaren P1 came out on top with a time of just 58.25 seconds. The Porsche 918 Spyder claimed the second sport with a 58.48, while the Ferrari LaFerrari managed a time of 58.58. The test here was done in the U.K., in October, which doesn’t make for the best conditions for 900-plus horsepower hypercars to hook up. Times will be different that those given by the factory.
