Man Angry with Dealership Blockades Lot with Batmobile
We’ve all had bad dealer experiences. It is one of the longest running cliches in the automotive world. By now, many have learned how to do their homework so they don’t get burned, or they have mastered the art of the haggle. But some people just don’t know how to take it, and the response can be spectacular.
Yu is a Chinese man who thought he had made a great buy when he drove off the dealership lot in a brand new Land Rover. According to Shanghaiist, Yu took his fleet of extraordinary cars to the dealership in Shaoxing city, Zhejiang province and used them to blockade its entrance. That fleet included a Rolls-Royce Phantom and a Lamborghini Aventador, but the real item that should scare away customers is the intimidating replica of the Tumbler from the Christopher Nolan Batman franchise! Apparently, Yu is a self-made businessman who once owned a dealership of his own. His plan was actually to sell the Land Rover to a customer he had lined up. Maybe it was the prospect of lost business that drove him to unleash his supercar fleet, including the Batmobile, on the dealership. RELATED: Dark Knight's Tumbler Visits Jay Leno's Garage
Our sources tell us that the Shanghaiist can be sensational at times, so we’re taking the whole ordeal with a grain of salt.
